CORONA Status : Weizmann Library Services Fully Available

  • Staffing = Library and Archive staff are able to work seamlessly from home or the office
  • Coverage hours = normal working hours
  • Virtual services, database access, electronic journal, article, book, etc access = fully available
  • Physical Libraries = Library building doors are open to the public during staff working hours; outside those hours, they are locked and accessible ONLY by staff or student or family card
  • Print books = books on open shelves remain available with self-service loan and return; book requests are available but may require coordination with Library staff
  • Articles from journals in the Weizmann print collection (closed-shelf collection) = article requests are available along with Publications from other libraries (ILL)
  • Games (closed-shelf collection @ Goldschleger) = game requests are available but may require coordination with Library staff
  • Equipment (closed-shelf collection @ Goldschleger) = equipment requests are available during staff hours
  • Weizmann Archive = service on-campus by appointment only
  • Research Publications = normal service, with some delays due to staffing shortages 
  • APC Discounts = 100% discounts from 15 publishers + additional smaller discounts 
  • Publications from other libraries (ILL) = normal service
  • Purchase print books = normal service
  • Self-Service Answers to Frequently Asked Questions = normal service
