Physical Library Services

Due to significant damage sustained during a missile attack, the Goldschleger Central Library building has been repurposed.

Currently, there is no freely accessible physical collections or available study spaces there. Some of our physical collections are available by request; others have been stored and are temporarily inaccessible.

There are, however, a few services that we still offer in the Goldschleger building to ease your library experience:

  1. Library office:
Located in room 11 on the ground floor of the Goldschleger building. Our librarians, Marina Sandler, Paysach Burke and Daphna Sussman will be happy to meet you (by appointment only) and support your library and information needs.

  2. Receiving and returning library books:

Books can be ordered by writing an email to our librarians (library@weizmann.ac.il) or by placing a request via the Library catalog (see instructions).

Requested books will be placed in the SmartLocker, located on the bottom floor (-1) of the Goldschleger building, where you can pick them up 24/7.
You can also return library books using the SmartLocker.
For more information on the Smartlocker, its location and how to use it, visit our FAQ

In addition, All digital and remote services are, of course, fully functioning as always and our library staff remains fully committed to supporting your research and teaching needs.
