Due to significant damage sustained during a missile attack, the Goldschleger Central Library building has been repurposed, and there is currently no physical library or study space available. Some of our physical collections have been stored and are temporarily inaccessible; others are available by request.

The Weizmann Institute Library strives to create a dynamic information environment that fosters research, learning, and innovation. The library’s goals are:

Develop and maintain high quality collections with an emphasis on digital content and timely access to information resources
Provide services and tools that support research, education, and discovery

The Weizmann Institute Library System consists of the Goldschleger Library (temporarily unavailable), 2 faculty libraries, and the Weizmann Institute Archives.

The Goldschleger Library serves as the headquarters, managing and coordinating all library activities and services . It also holds special closed collections such as: History of Science, Land of Israel, books from the original Haber Library, Einstein reprints, and Prof. Ephraim Katzir's books. Due to the missile damaged caused to the Goldschleger building, special collections are stored in different locations and are available only by request.
Mathematics and Physics Faculty libraries contain books on the relevant disciplines and provide Library Services to the scientific faculties, students and staff. All print journals are kept in accessible storage.
